The evaluation process is very important to the league. The purpose is to evaluate every player's talent for the purpose of building balanced teams for the House League and to determine whether the player might qualify for the Travel Program.
There is a pre-season parents and players meeting held prior to evaluations. At this meeting, players will be assigned session times for their evaluation(s). There are multiple opportunities for players to hit and field, with separate sessions just for pitching and catching.
If a player is unable to attend of of their assigned sessions, he is allowed to attend an alternate session. The player simply needs to check in with a league representative at the alternate session.
OPRF Pony Baseball does everything in its power to make sure that every player gets as many opportunities as possible to tryout and be seen by the coaches. If you have any questions regarding tryouts, speak to a league representative.
